Take back control of your rider experience.

Branded iOS and Android apps — plus web stop pages, QR, and push you control — built on the GTFS feed you already publish. No aggregator. Nothing upfront. Live in three weeks.

Native iOS + Android · Web + QR · Push you control

The aggregator trap

In someone else's app, you're just a tenant.

Moovit and Transit are built for big cities and their own growth — not yours. Your routes are one option in a long list, your brand is a footnote, and the relationship with your riders belongs to them.

  • Your name and colors, buried under theirs
  • No push you can actually send
  • Rider attention captured by the aggregator
  • No say over what gets fixed first

Track record

Built by a team that already ships transit apps.

We shipped production transit apps — realtime, journey planning, service alerts — before we turned the work into a product. They're on the stores right now.

What you own

A rider-facing layer that's finally yours.

Branded native apps

iOS and Android, in the App Store and Google Play under your name and colors. Designed this year, not abandoned in 2019.

Push you control

Service alerts fire automatically from your GTFS-RT, or write your own — a detour, a holiday schedule, anything. A direct line to every rider's phone.

Web stop pages + QR

Real-time departures on a mobile page at every stop. Generate and manage the QR codes riders scan. No download.

Maintenance included

Ordinary upkeep and fixes come with the subscription. New custom work is scoped and quoted up front. No surprises.

How it works

You publish clean GTFS. We do the rest.

01

You publish GTFS(-RT)

The schedule and realtime feeds you already maintain. The only input we need.

02

We build and brand it

Your feeds, your brand, shipped to both stores — plus web stop pages and your console.

03

Live in 3 weeks

From kickoff to the App Store and Google Play. Nothing upfront, billed monthly or annually.

No operations changes, nothing to rip out. We don't touch your scheduling, AVL, or fare systems.

Same quality, none of the lock-in

Big-vendor polish, without the big-vendor build.

A custom native-app program is a five-to-six-figure project and a year of your time. An aggregator is free — and that's the problem: it isn't yours. TransitKit is the third option.

There's no real incumbent price to undercut — the honest yardstick is a custom build: five to six figures upfront and a year of your time. TransitKit is the same outcome for $599/mo, nothing upfront, and the app is yours from week three.

Frequently asked questions

  • They're aggregators optimized for big cities and their own growth. TransitKit gives you a branded, operator-owned channel with push alerts you control — different value, often complementary.

  • Standard stays out of fare entirely, or deep-links to your provider (Token Transit, Masabi). Want to own fare payments too? That's a custom module on top of Standard.

  • Your GTFS feed URL, your GTFS-realtime feed if you have one, and your brand — logo and colors. That's it. We handle the App Store and Google Play submissions, hosting, and the real-time and push infrastructure.
